  • Solve more complex electrical issues based on my 20-year electrical experience and knowledge (ex. installation of complete wiring systems found in industrial complexes)
  • Support emergency and after hour requests to make sure mission is not impacted based on electrical issues, to include but not limited to secured buildings.
  • Support and train my team on more involved and complex projects.
  • Supervises and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronics controls of various design or complexity.
  • Tasked with maintenance/construction planning and scoping projects within the contract to include Service Orders, IDIQ’s and Cat Calls.
  • Procure materials and services required based on the electrical project’s needs.
  • Daily scheduling of work in our CMMS system Maximo through Assignment Manager to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing for ongoing service orders and or IDIQ Projects.
  • Assist in the establishment of preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
  • Prepare deliverable reports and analyze to indicate work progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • Works with (DCR) Direct Condition Rating on everyday Equipment/Assets at Mayport Naval Station with High Voltage, Low Voltage, HVAC and Mechanical
  • Work along with Facility Manager, Building Managers and Pars to best support the mission here at Mayport Naval Station

  • Work on generators, switchboards, relays, switches, regulators, capacitor banks, motors, air compressors, Batteries, lighting, wire and cable systems, control panels, relay panels, control board layouts, manufacture instructions, oral and written instructions, wiring diagrams.
  • I was awarded four safety coins for bringing safety concerns of hazardous conditions to the attention of upper management and government officials. These coins were used for personal time off in recognition of my overall safety efforts for my department.
