• Directed and motivated 11-person team of production staff. Manage the filler room to help achieve our goals. Filling out the proper paperwork to ensure that we are producing a safe quality product that our customers have enjoyed for years.
• Conduct safety spot meetings and safety standdown and strongly encourage employees to wear their PPE. Also fill out incident reports when employees have accidents or damaged property.

Operation of tractors and implements related to the operations of the family farm. These include baler ,disc mowers,plows and brush hogs.

• Directed warehouse team in stocking merchandise, pulling orders and setting up loads. Assisting the warehouse coordinator and planer with staffing and product allocation issues.
• Compared bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspected for damaged goods and communicated to inventory control for cost recovery of damaged goods.
• Operated forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

• Supported the HK conveyor technician in keeping the cranes and conveyors running. This included communications with production on causes and timing of repairs.
• My duties required me to fill in where needed in the warehouse or as planner and/or dispatcher. Also I filled in for the coordinator when on vacation or absent.
• My duties also include supporting the training of new hires. Process vacation requests and requesting shift swaps.

• Identified potential issues with inventory and reported them to Coordinator to determine if we could ship the product or not.
• Maintained steady flow of work in the queue without exceeding the Allotted time for onetime loading. By prioritizing and releasing orders per stops. Also responsible for communicating with the dock person to find pallets that have not been confirmed to trailers.
• Coordinated planning, programming and management of programs such as AS/400 , TMS and YMS. This determines what what order to plan and assign trailers based on the availability of drop trailers
• Responsible assigning doors to live carriers and send new message to the YMS system for them to go to that door. It was also expected that I communicated with the yard jockeys to ensure drivers went to the proper doors and left in a timely fashion.
• Overall the planner job is very multi task oriented having to do multiple functions simultaneously. Communication Is key to your success whether it's with coordinator ,dock person or quality. Also it is very important to keep the warehouse on time.

• Removed debris to keep plant floors free of obstacles.
• Completed daily paperwork, noting operational issues and machinery shutdowns.
• Working in a safe manner to keep the cranes running and picking product for loads.
• Keeping pallets moving on the conveyors and identifying how to get pallets unstuck quick and safely.
• communicating with maintenance to ensure that the conveyors and cranes are working at optimal capacity.
• identifying crane faults and knowing how to clear them and they determining if they have spilt product.
• Working with maintenance to complete mechanical work related to preventive maintenance or break downs.

• Operated lift and hand trucks to transfer materials to and from target areas.
• Using RF units to complete assigned task to fill customer orders via case picking or pulling pallets from the VNA racks.
• Learn all the functions of a shipper including loading and receiving as well as case picking and driving the VNA. That made my job easier as I was not stuck in one place all the time.
• Worked as HK controller technician before it became a tech job and was awarded the job when it first was posted.
• I also learned the position of dispatch so I could fill in when people are out. Using AS/400 and TMS to check drivers in and sign them out after having them verify their destination and sign the bills.
• I became a trainer for or the warehouse and trained many of my coworkers to safely operate their lifts by taking the time to get them comfortable with the equipment.

• Safely checked materials, positions, adhesion and appearance for each product before initiating full production.

• Adjusted all components and machinery settings to calibrate equipment for each production run per process controls.

• Managed die changes to maximize production and minimize downtime during the regular shift. This was achieved by having the die change take place at night when machine was down At night.
• Participated in. a kaizen project which streamlined the blanking process of the corefine machine. This was achieved through changes in how the product was produced and modifications to how it was inspected and packed.
