William has been employed by Kiewit since July of 2018. He has been improving his career in the company by working in different roles such as Care & Maintenance Clerk, Turnover/Start Up Clerk, Estimating and Mechanical Field Engineer. William started his career with Kiewit Power Constructors as being responsible for the Care and Maintenance of all Rotating Equipment for the Alamitos AES Power Plant project and closed out the project in 2020 as part of the Turnover/Start Up team for Substantial and Final Completion. William then moved on to the Estimating role by helping the company win projects such as P1-105 for the OCSD, Forth Track in Long Beach, Calleguas Interconnection for the Las Virgenes MWD, LA County Public Works Los Altos Rehab Project and North City Expansion/EQ projects for San Diego, CA. William is currently at Pure Water North City WRP as a Mechanical Field Engineer assisting with all installation of mechanical equipment.
· Scoped P&ID's (mech, inst, pipe) and cable term electrical diagrams
· Chaired 30-day scope review meeting with Client and const. team
· 15 Day walkdowns & FINAL walkdown of systems prior to Turnover
· Chaired weekly Work List / Turnover Status meeting
· Track completion of Punch List items for substantial and final completion certification
· Chaired POD schedules between client and Kiewit for day to day commercial operations work
· Field Engineer responsibilities including safety tool box talks with Laborers and Subcontractor crews, support and observe operations, POD work time reviews and approvals, Inspect and receive materials, complete Material Receiving Reports and Warehouse Issue Tickets (WIT's)
