• At Progress Rail I set up, and machine track parts called "frogs" on 4, and 5 axis machines for the railroad industries, developed job times for the process, trained several individuals to do the set up, and machining tasks on these machines as well, helped develop gaging for quality on these parts, held the responsibility of supervisor for all three shifts, overseeing on average of 20-25 employees for my department

• Experience setting up and operating manual lathes, CNC lathes, manual mills, CNC mills, surface grinders.

• Setting up spindle housings within +/- .0005 and finish machining them and holding bores to tolerances of +.0001 - 0, holding perpendicularity within +/- .002 then spinning the housing to finish mill the rear bores to the same tolerances of +.0001 - 0
• And holding all of the bore in line to the same kind of tolerances.

Set up, program edit or program entirely, and machine a vast array of parts. I did this on multiple machines at MachineTek including a large CNC Toshiba horizontal boring mill, a G&L manual horizontal boring mill, prototrak mills and lathes

• Set up, program, mass program editing, R&D, machine to print, holding surface finishes, & tight tolerances on Toshiba Boring Mills, & Mori Seiki Horizontal Boring Mills
