  • I began working in radio broadcasting in 1978 at WHSC Radio in Hartsville, SC, as a disc jockey, Music Director, Program Director, and Sports Broadcaster. After leaving the broadcast industry full-time to pursue a teaching career, I continued to announce the HArtsville High School football games for several different stations until my retirement from that part-time job at the end of the 2022 football season, a career that covered a span of 44 years
