Work History

Pool Monitor

Blackhawk Country Club
09.2022 - Current

Working as a pool monitor for Blackhawk Country Club, I was responsible for tending to the needs of the patrons who came onto the pool's grounds. This means ensuring the area is safe and clean for guests to come and relax. This means blowing all leaves and twigs out from around the pool area, picking up all the trash left, putting the pool cleaner in at night, and taking it out in the morning. Ensuring all chairs and loungers are in proper working order and that umbrellas are being put up if asked or needed. As a pool monitor, it is also your job to regulate the chemicals used to ensure the pool stays disinfected and clean. This means that you will be taking water samples hourly and making sure they are stable not adding too much of a particular chemical, which could lead to a serious risk in public safety. Ensuring that the pool is clean and safe is not the only part of the job; ensuring the patrons have a good experience is also a major priority. this means checking members in with their numbers and asking if they need anything during your shift.
