Working offshore is a physically hard job at times. Long hours, sometimes difficult weather conditions, working with certain drilling equipment such as manual rig tongs, slips, manual elevators, drill pipe, collars, HWDP, misc subs, etc., can sometimes be strenuous on the body. Having worked out daily since playing baseball in college in 1987, has allowed me to be able to maintain my health so that I have been able to work for 30 plus years in the offshore drilling industry with no recordable incidents or accidents. I feel with my current physical condition, I can be a valuable asset on any rig providing assistance with any job physical or mental.
