• Created a Valve Code for the Hospital consisting of All Plumbing and Pipefitting valves - this Code was comprised of 262 controlling patient rooms , mechanical rooms , etc.
• MY JOB HIGHLIGHT :

My company , Hays Heating and Plumbing set-up a work-release program with Marianna Mens Correctional Institute for their Prisoners to come to work on our project at Jackson County Hospital . I was directly responsible Every day for between 1-10 work release prisoners who would get dropped off the bus from the correctional institute. This was a Unique Discovery of human nature for me . They came everyday until near the actual end of the project totaling about 6 months . There was not One negative happening involving this . Even though none had experience , each gave 100% effort under my direction . A tremendous amount of work was completed in a relatively short time . It was a Success . A true Win-Win for All involved . A Personal Accomplishment for me that has Remained as a Positive job performance my entire life.

• My 1st Plumbing Job - I was 19 years old and was hired for $2.00 an hour.
• Every Day for at least the 1st 6 months , my job was to knock holes in the concrete floors with a Hammer and Chisel. We didn't have power tools for this . The concrete floor was between 4" and 6" thick . The purpose of this was to correct mistakes where sleeves in the pre-poured concrete were installed provide access in walls , chases , etc .
• My Average Hole took between 2 and 3 days to complete. People would talk about how perfect my holes looked !
