Lead a team of five RCs to provide services to foster youth and familles. Keep documentation on SIRs, RC coaching, weekly team meetings, and general documentation compliance.

Delivered resources and coordinated care for foster youth. Supported foster parents through in home services. Worked with DCS to maintain highest level of care, including working with schools, courts, etc. kept up to date documentation, including case notes, monthly summaries, treatment plans, safety plans.

• Created and incorporated a non-profit agency to address issues of social justice through art.

• Developed and delivered IEP for student who was behind academically, bringing him up to date and graduated early. Presently enrolled as a freshman in college. Assisted co owner of a construction/house remodeling company in a wide variety of activities and situations.

• Responsible for development and implementation of curriculum for junior and senior level graphic design students. Designed to integrate philosophy and ethics into the technical skill set. Responsible for developing class assignments, exams, and content for seminar type classes.

• Responsible for mental health intakes of all incoming inmates as well as ongoing mental health/suicide prevention reviews throughout the prison. Behavioral management and daily life skills coordinated and administered prison wide substance abuse program. Developed and implemented research model to determine efficacy of program to reduce recidivism prevention program and mental health and substance abuse training for staff.

• Responsible for unsupervised field work providing direct care for at risk families in an effort to prevent transition into state custody. Responsibilities included teaching and modeling behavior management skills, working with educational systems to develop IEP’s. Advocating for the family with the court system, and working closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Responsible for complete care of eight abused/neglected boys ages 5-18 years old. Worked with multidisciplinary treatment teams and families to facilitate transition back into home. Helped design new ropes course and became certified as a ropes course instructor. Facilitated groups on a monthly basis.

• Responsible for daily supervision of ten to twenty adolescent patients including daily and weekly activity planning working closely with multidisciplinary treatment team. Teaching daily living skills, conflict resolution and behavior management skills. Worked on a weekly basis on high and low element ropes courses helping to facilitate team building exercises.
