• Design and development complex mechanical system and components, utilizing Solidworks CAD software to create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Develop initial design concepts, conduct feasibility studies, and evaluate design options based on project requirements and constraints.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks) ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly drawings.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical) to ensure seamless integration of components within the overall system.

Coordinated the efforts of a group of Sr. Designers, Designers, and Draftsman to support Engineering in product development.

• Prepare and manage the schedule and tasks associated with long-term devolvement or special projects.
• Design and detail complex machined, cast, molded, sheet metal, tooling, fixturing, and other components from engineering specifications.
• Design and assembly of complex alignment tooling and fixturing utilizing lasers and optical mounts
• Create solid models and drawings to design and document parts and assemblies.

• Reading engineered piping diagrams, design piping systems from layout to detail design utilizing Catia.
• Create 2D construction drawings from 3d solid models
• Design and layout of piping support hangers, creation of 3d solid models to support design.
• Follow and adhere to strict submarine building standards and procedures.
