Responsibilities:

• Operate rig floor equipment, ex.- Iron roughneck,pipe wrangler,air tongs a n d manual/pneumatic drill pipe slips.

• Maintain rig engines for rig power, i.e. oil and filter changes, put engines online for drilling operations, as well as maintaining

all drilling rig equipment.

• Ensure correct valve alignment prior to transferring/receiving large quantities of drilling fluid.

• Operate/rebuild and or repair centrifugal/hydraulic pump equipment.

• Monitor & adjust mud wt./Vis. & record volumes daily.

• Pump/displace specific fluids into well to aid in lost circulation,stabilization, and well control.

• Calculate, measure & record pit volumes & all fluid transfers.

• Maintain/inspect/repair mud pumps, mud pits, and chemical rooms.

• Report of all PVT gains/losses.

• Assist rig crew as needed, slip/cut DL, routine maint/Inspect. on mechanical/pneumatic equipment, Etc.

• Responsible for thorough routine & documented derrick inspections/Dropped Object Checklists.

• Prep tubular equipment prior to tripping operations and the handling of tubulars from the derrickboard.
