"Las Mariposa" Screenplay

• Researched and wrote detailed backgrounds of each character for the script. Where they came from. Their ethnic make up. Their psychological makeup. What makes them tick and why.
• Researched early California history as well as Mexican and American War history for the script.
• Researched the Mariposa Indian Wars, Early Mariposa Ranching, and gold mining
• I used information from pay past Documentaries about the local Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation and Ranching in Mariposa.
• Even though my script would be historic fiction, I found discrepancies in stories about one of my main characters, Joaquin Murrieta. I used the discrepancies to help me develop the story for the screenplay.
• Organized the research and then devised what message was the story going enlighten the audience with. What am I trying to say and what can I bring to the screen that is telling it in a different way. It it is a love story, what about it that is different than the others. How about three men who are enemies who are in love one woman! How do they react. What is best for her.
• Wrote a movie score to put the story into perspective. And began writing the screenplay.
• Incorporated feedback from educators who read the screenplay and I think we are there now. "Las Mariposas."

• "Pueblo, a year of Crises in America,"

• I researched the attack on the USS Pueblo in 1968 by North Korea and the history that let up to the attack.

• Interview five of the living crewmen who were on the ship and filmed their stories, as well as a US Intelligence officer who was well versed on the subject

• Wrote and directed the reenactment of the attack on the USS Pueblo with 32 actors, including four Koreans on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien in San Francisco.

• "Pueblo, A Year of Crises in America has one six awards at festivals around the world and has screened in theaters and events around the US.

"Miwuk"

• Negotiated with tribal leaders to gain their confidence in allowing me to tell their story.

• Research the history of the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation. Where their ancestors came from, where they lived, and how were they expelled from their homes

• Began interviewing members and leaders of the tribe.

• Edited the film and screened for the tribe to their delight.

• The film has been screened for over 14,000 people and a copy of it is being held in the archives of the United States Bureau of Indian Affairs.

"Ron White: Behavioral Problems"

• Edited the television special.

• Made changes according to the input I received.

•. Formatted the show for air and sent it onto mixing

• Edited the Feature film and also produced the trailers for the film.

• Covered the sound mixes

• The feature is playing on Prime.
