Recruited by private equity firm to assist in the turn around of this operation. I was approached in January 2016, and terms of employment were negotiated as of March 2016 (with the stipulation to remain on at AIrDye Solution until June of 2016).

In the first 45 days informed to lay-off 50 people and over the course of the next 4 months laid off 20 or more fellow employees until received the word the Company was to close at the end of 2016.

Agreed to stay through the last day to close the operation.

Start-up with primary leadership responsibilities to open the operation hire all shop floor manpower, and management. Initially held interim responsibility for manufacturing operation, safety, quality, IT, finance, logistics, customer service, and EH&S. Directed source VP of Operations, CFO, Director of Quality, and Logistics Manager. Remained over EH&S, customer service, and IT for 12-months until revenue targets were achieved.

Saved over $500,000.00 in EH&S violations and gained the cooperation of the local EPA the local environmental department to decrease the fines if achieved compliance in 45-days. My plan was to work with the local University that offered a degree program in EH&S with the head of the department and students. In less than 30 days we met the compliance guidelines. Part of my proposal was to provide the university if finished ontime and in compliance (achieved the goal).

There were other issues and the other main open trap was the bankrupt company didn't provide COBRA notifications and 3-months of premiums were past due. Negotiated with the insurance company and coverage was reinstated back 3-months.

Hire 186 people and achieved selling the business under 36-months.

There were 16 plans total (United States, Canada, and Mexico).

I was also the relief HR Plant Manager for vacations and terminations as well as hiring the replacement for the onsite HR Plant Management position. I investigated EEO and WC allegations, designed the benefits module in ADP, and the main compensation analyst for US and CA.
