At Vinylmax, I would be assigned 1 or more trucks to help load in windows. Once I would be assigned 1, I would look at how many I need and confirm the truck stop by looking at the right side of the trailer. After that I would start to load in the windows by carrying carts to their designated spot and I would use an RF scanner and scan the label on the side of the window. After that I would load in the windows and safely place them and neatly place them in their spot. I would also be a receiving worker whenever one of the workers don’t show up.
At Lowe’s, I would mainly work as a cashier in a very fast paced environment. I started as a part time cashier and I wanted to work my way up until full time. I was mainly in the lumber department due to my bilingual skills and my knowledge with masonry. When I’m not a cashier, I would help load up heavy materials for customers, restock snacks and drinks, help carry carts into the building no matter the weather condition, provide customer service and help customers where to find the materials they’re looking for.
