Watched and took care of my younger sister who is physically disabled with multiple conditions, making her unable to stand, walk or care for herself properly.

Daily tasks such as getting her what she needs, cooking food and feeding her, getting her water and juice, cleaning up after her, washing dishes and the table she eats on, doing laundry for her, helping her get to where she needs to go, as well as doing schoolwork with her, helping her learn to do math, how to read, and learn about history and science.

Communicating on her schedule regarding what she’s done and how she did during the day, any medicines, foods she ate, how much water she drank, etc.

Maintained the non-wooded areas including pastures, farming fields, trails, driveways, shops and barns across over 300 acres, which included: cutting the grass, killing weeds, spraying roundup along fences, cleaning limbs and fallen trees on the trails and driveways, spraying for bugs, cleaning up leaves in the fall, mending gates and fences, cleaning the barns and shops where tools and equipment were kept.

Took down chicken houses in a manner to reuse the materials, such as: taking down the sidings and pulling nails, staples and siding off before cleaning the wood and stacking neatly into a barn, taking down the fans, feeders, watering and wiring, assisting in pulling down the tin from the roofs and tearing down the old structures.

Assisted in caring for up to 15 hunting dogs at a time, such as cleaning their kennels, feeding them, watering them, washing them and making sure they were all accounted for.

Cleaned, maintained and repaired equipment as needed and made sure everything was locked up at the end of the day to prevent any theft or loss.

Watched over the property, even on time off, and communicated with the owners and others to ensure everything was in order, taken care of and protected.

Performed daily tasks such as feeding the animals, giving them fresh water and fresh hay, making sure they got all animals who took any medicine received it, cleaning barn and shop, tidying up storage and tools.

Completed tasks like trimming the weeds and grass around the fence, making sure fences and gates were intact, checking animals for any wounds, washing blankets and mats for horses and loading up cattle into trailers for butchering.

Built enclosures for small animals such as chickens, pigs and goats.

Swapped animals around while performing controlled burns in the empty pastures to maintain healthy grass growth.

Worked with other members on the farm to ensure efficiency.
