After getting discharged from the Army I continued to go back overseas and work for the department of state. During this time I was assigned to the embassy's liaison unit. Escorting the ambassador's to and from meetings on the embassy grounds. Working in close quarters with the Ambassador's team facilitating meetings with key personnel that worked on the embassy's grounds. Which meant anywhere that the ambassador went to we always had our eye on him at all times. I done this from 2012 to 2015.
After completing my contract I got hired to work for "IDS" which later became triple canopy. During the time I was there I was assigned to the "QRF" quick reaction force for the embassy that was located in Kabul Afghanistan. We would also have special missions while on the team known "TST" Tactical Support Team. This would be a small team operating in and around the city of Kabul helping the movement teams that was escorting high ranking diplomats to where they had to go. This could be as high as the ambassador, to personnel that would work for USAID. My time there was from 2015 to 2019.
