I did both my CT and MRI rotations here. I performed all sorts of CT exams during my time here and got comfortable using both Philips and Toshiba scanners. I was responsible for all parts of an exam including taking the CT, starting IVs, administering contrast, image post processing, and getting a brief patient history among other things. I am still finishing my MRI rotation but all of the skills I obtained in CT have been strengthened and new skills such as screening patients have been added.
I Did my X-ray clinical Rotation here. I was responsible for taking x-rays. working with ER patients, communicating with hospital staff, assisting with other modalities, and maintaining the rooms via QA.
This was one of a few summer jobs I performed. I was never late nor did I miss a day. I was responsible for checking, cleaning, and painting fire hydrants when I was alone and would assist other employees in all manners of jobs when asked. I would spend an entire day alone in a truck driving around assisting when I could and doing what I was told.
