I have had a variety of jobs in my day, all with different challenges and hurdles. I believe every day brings a new opportunity to learn and better myself.
In my day in the factory i have taken many leadership courses, applied these techniques while working with my work crew. Quality was always a priority, in my time in quality control I was in charge of sending "questionable" parts further down the process. This was a challenging job knowing that my decisions had a chance of negatively affecting the company both fiscally and professionally.
On the rail road i learned/practiced safety first. While always an issue, it was especially important working in train yards. Would construct trains with FRA restrictions in mind, eventually controlling the trains to it's destination. Learned how to work by myself or with minimum personal during this job.
At the vet office i was a jack of all trades. Did all the duties associated with front desk as well as assisted the doctor when necessary. Phone calls, scheduling, payments, and costumer service consumed majority of work day.
I am currently in Nursing School at Kaskaskia Collage. Have a CNA license and CPR certified.
