Construction Supervisor
TAG Communications
Del Mar, NY

Telephony installer, lead installer for a telephony contractor
TAG contracted me to QCS LLC in Richmond, VA
QCS handles all of the Bell Atlantic installation on the East Coast from the North Carolina boarder of Virginia to Delaware (east of 1-95)
I was contracted to QCS for the entire duration of my employment with TAG
When I was dispatched to QCS they had over 100 contractors working for them and when I left TAG and they terminated my contract with QCS, there was only a hand full of contractors (less than 10) still under contract with QCS
My responsibilities began with QCS as a basic installer (wire wrapping, pulling cable, making power connections, BNC connections, building structures, installing bays, fiber connections)
As my time lengthened with the company they began to give me jobs to run as the lead installer
I was the lead for this company, but they could not assign me as the lead because of the agreements they had with their own employees (I was only a contractor for this company)
For this reason I began to pursue another position that I could grow and be rewarded for my hard work
