  • Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) personnel are responsible for providing and maintaining these essential maintenance support capabilities Perform maintenance and repairs on motor and engine driven generator sets, air conditioners, hydraulic test stands, air compressors, bomb-lifts, heaters, and other similar support equipment Operate, clean, inspect, and service AGE towing vehicles Maintain external fuel and grounding systems Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material and waste according to environmental standards

  • I inspect aircraft assembly to ensure all is airworthy
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CMP cards, engineering orders and service/customer Bulletins
  • Proficient in power point, excel, solumina 1&2, and Catia
  • As a QC Inspection Sr my primary duties is inspection of aircraft assy, to ensure that aircraft assy, is air worthy and on occasion I will need to work and act as a liaison to coordinate with various departments to ensure on time completion of a quality aircraft assy, also to monitor all daily work plans are followed
  • Coordinate/track all parts with dispatcher to eliminate shortages/damaged parts
  • NOTE; PRESENTALLY WORKING P42 500 WINGS AND THE P19 650 WING FROM PRE-TACK TO FINAL MIDIGATION
  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1 Assign and coordinate all work tasks to ensure a smooth workflow is established daily, to include working directly with Mechanics and Team Coordinators planners and engineers
  • 2 Monitor all work to ensure compliance specifications and completeness
  • 3 Demonstrated aircraft system and structural assembly knowledge 4 Work with dispatchers to status availability of parts and materials as required by supporting departments.

Aviation ordnance man

US NAVY

  • Aviation ordnancemen operate and handle aviation ordnance equipment
  • They are responsible for the maintenance of guns, bombs, torpedoes, rockets, and missiles
  • Their duties include the stowing, issuing, and loading of munitions and small arms
  • There are three different types of ordnanceman; "O" (organizational) level, "I" (intermediate) level, and "D" (depot) level
  • O-level ordnanceman are attached to squadrons ashore and afloat
  • They perform loading/downloading operations on aircraft as well as maintenance on bomb racks, missile launchers, and other aircraft components
  • Aviation ordnanceman "A" School is currently held at Pensacola Naval Air Station, in Florida, by the Naval Air Technical Training Center
  • Aviation ordnanceman training is approximately 5 weeks long
  • At aviation ordnanceman "A" School, subjects are taught basic aviation theory and skills, along with electronic troubleshooting.
