Lead Control Room Operator

  • Duties include shift scheduling for all operators, supervising daily activities of operations including meeting hourly generation/VAR support along with proper communication with the energy customer and the balancing authority for an 859 megawatt power plant
  • Ensure logs are properly filled out daily
  • Site administrator for MSI data logging application as well as GPI training
  • Assist the laboratory tech in monitoring day-to-day boiler and cooling tower chemistry
