Inquisitive, competitive, and adventurous. These traits fuel my interest in how things are put together and how individual parts work collectively to make a complex unit function. It's also relevant to data science, my field of study at the University of Arkansas. I find myself being drawn to the fine detail and precision coding requires. These traits will help me be a successful and competent employee.
Travel Expense Dashboard with Fraud Detection | August 2024:
I designed and developed a comprehensive Travel Expense Dashboard using Tableau to visualize data and detect fraud. The dashboard handled multiple data sources, which were cleaned, formatted, and manipulated using Alteryx to optimize the data. It included features to track travel expenses by month, region, district, and individual employees, providing insights for financial oversight. I also incorporated advanced functionalities like calculated fields and parameters to identify anomalies and potential fraud risks. These tools highlight high-risk employees and put them into scope.
Bank User Interface Project | April 2024:
I designed and developed a custom banking UI using C#, tailored specifically for Hog Bank, a local bank serving university students. The UI featured both a customer panel and an admin panel. The customer panel allowed users to make deposits and withdrawals, view past transactions, explore investment options, and more. The admin panel provided tools for viewing all user transactions, generating detailed reports for each user, tracking investments and loans, and monitoring cash inventory. I created and managed the backend database using SQL, ensuring secure and efficient storage of all customer and financial data. To enhance functionality, I integrated live data linking between the SQL database and the banking UI, enabling real-time updates and synchronization, so that any changes made in the UI were immediately reflected in the SQL database. Collaborating with a team, we focused on implementing user-friendly features and interfaces to improve the overall user experience and operational efficiency. The development process was documented, and the project was presented to stakeholders(ie. classmates), demonstrating the functionality and reliability of the live data link between the UI and SQL database.
Index Query Project | March 2024:
I designed and developed a comprehensive data analysis tool in Python. The tool supported multiple dataset types, including CSV, indexed, and NumPy arrays, allowing for flexible data manipulation. Key features included loading and sorting datasets, generating statistical summaries, and creating correlation plots. I implemented advanced functionalities such as binary search for efficient data querying, principal component analysis for dimensionality reduction, and converting categorical data into a numerical format that can be used in machine learning models for categorical data processing. Additionally, I integrated a decision tree model to rank attributes based on predictive accuracy. The tool also featured a user-friendly interface with a menu-driven system for easy navigation and operation.

I took this on as a hobby in high school, this is something that I take great interest in. Building a computer involves selecting compatible components and assembling them meticulously to ensure proper installation. After assembly, the system is powered on to check for errors, and the operating system is installed.
