Replenished product from overstock areas to picking locations. Sorted empty shipping cartons by size into 3 sided bins to be strapped and shipped back to distribution warehouse. Verified selected orders for accuracy before shipping. Verified inventory shortages with company auditors. Kept all work areas clean and orderly.

Managed the receiving and expediting of flooring materials for commercial and residential job sites. Implemented a color coded tagging system for stock items, customer orders, claims, material returns, and vendor sample floor displays. Constantly updated product descriptions and quantities. Performed weekly inventory for the replenishment of products used daily. I worked closely with 3 local suppliers to assure the communication between our companies was cohesive.

I assisted in cleaning, repairing, or replacing heating systems and oil tanks. Starting in May, we would open campgrounds and summer homes for vacationers, refilling the water system, making sure water heaters were working properly and repairing any water leaks. In September and October we would shut off all power, drain all water, pour antifreeze into the water lines, close up the buildings.

Unloaded trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or 2 wheel dolley. Verified purchase orders. Received inventory, making any adjustments for shortages or overages. Put product in stock or customer order locations. Kept warehouse clean and organized. Made supply runs to replenish inventory of daily use items. Assisted all installers with loading materials for their jobs. Did inventory updates as needed.
