I have a long history in the Construction Trades as well as background Sales experience. My sales experience began upon graduation of High School. Then, I joined the US Army. I was in just a short time due to PTSD related issues. After the Army, I became a salesman for several Construction Companies while working the trade. Soon after I developed my own company Deck Mechanics. I operated a hands on company with upwards of 15 to 20 employees. I managed and marketed the company for over a decade to a Million plus gross per year in a small region in my home State of Pennsylvania . Upon dissolving the Company I moved to Los Angeles. I tried my hand at acting while working a day job in the Construction and Maintenance Management Field, another inclusive "hands on" Position. After that I started a Consulting and Management Company for "house flipping" when the market crashed in 2008 and began to recoverv in 2011. From that point forward my main focus was on my Company. Now in my 50th year of Life, I am ready to make a transition from The Owner Operator into the Employee or Freelance position in Life again. I am anxious to see what I can bring as a benefit to the Company I work with. I look forward to meeting my future Employer and hopefully the Company I retire from.
I have been involved in the Construction Trades since a very young age. Being a third generation son of a General Contractor I grew up working in all facets of the trade from a very young age. Through the years I have been trained hands on in all specialty areas of the trade. I have also studied the theory and practical application of the trade through different schools and training programs. I have perfected my skills in these areas through extensive experience. I have acquired a Contractor's License in several States and have been certified as a building inspector as a member of InterNachi. I am constantly continuing my education in the trade codes and updated methods of operation as well as construction management software and programs. I have managed large and small Construction Sites as well as operated a Licensed Construction Business of my own with just a few to a dozens of employees under my supervision. Most recently, f9r over the past decade and more, I have taken on independent consulting projects for various construction/construction management companies. I have also project managed many individual and multi-family housing remodels and building projects through the course of my consulting career and for my own personal real estate investment ventures.
