William Schultz

My name is William Schultz, I am 21 years old from Winston-Salem, NC. Previous to this application, I worked for three summers diligently with Buckeye Advisors. During my time here, I learned how to manage clients, coworkers and myself. I learned how to communicate effectively, time manage, manage expectations and manage client emotion. I also learned how to manage relations between myself and my coworkers, my boss, the client and any other non-profit donation organizations or consignment stores that were involved as well. I enjoyed working with the variety of people day in and day out, I love working with people. I managed packing the trucks as well, assessing the value and importance of certain items, determining weight and size which results in how I pack the truck, and also communicating with my coworkers about what furniture should move when, how it should be moved and how urgently it needs to be done. While the physical labor of moving furniture is something that on a day to day basis would seem monotonous, the variety of people I met, worked with and worked for made it all worth it and made it way more of a learning experience and personal growth journey than just a job.

• Love the outdoors (backpacking, kayaking, hiking etc.), traveled to New Mexico and completed two treks at Philmont Scout Ranch
• Represented High Point University at multiple statewide tournaments as an E-Sports athlete
