- Level one trauma center, cared for a wide variety of acutely ill patients including trauma, burn, LVAD etc

- Experience in EDs two psychiatric units

- Experience in EDs attached clinical decision unit

• Provided support to hospital staff in every area in the ED
• Triage and bed management/coordination with overflowing waiting rooms to the 56 beds in ED
• Cared for acutely ill/ICU patients regularly and facilitated transport to appropriate facilities or ICU if needed
• Worked with minimal staffing as the RN was tasked with EKGs, phlebotomy, transport to floor and to radiology
• Ultrasound IV insertion to ED and hospital floors on nights when IV team was unavailable

• Direct patient care including management of critical/ unstable patients
• Providing wide range of services for patients without ancillary staff (mixing drips, EKG's, obtaining/sending labs)
• Supporting hospital staff when needed (codes, STEMI's, stroke calls, traumas)
• Ultrasound guided IV insertion for department for difficult peripheral sticks

• Provided direct patient care, stabilized patients and determined next course of action
• Regularly cared for ICU/intubated patients which involved management of vents as well as critical drip titration
• Experience working in Level 1 trauma/Comprehensive stroke center and cared for those patients daily
• Triage and prioritization during staff/bed shortages with overflowed waiting rooms
• Ultrasound guided IV insertion for self and coworkers for difficult peripheral IV insertions
• Worked effectively as a team member during stressful/fast paced situations such as codes and trauma patients
