Responsible for getting the routes ready to load nightly. Which includes; counting the day's orders, making sure there aren't more than the truck can hold, if everything won't fit, contact our retail store managers to see what can be left off, billing out stock orders (just enough to fill up the trucks), checking the routes for billing errors and customers' orders out of sequence. Answer customer calls and bill out their orders. Computer work in three software programs: R/T, which handles orders and routing, GTX, which I take customers' orders, and E-tyre, which takes customers' orders online. Organize the invoices, print out transfers for truck drivers. Check behind loaders for inventory still sitting at the dock and how well they loaded the truck. Talk to different managers when issues come up, such as a salesperson billing a national account to wrong route repeatedly, or loader constantly leaving off casings. Keep track of each retail stores stock orders, make sure they are being sent within a few days. If a store's stock gets to high, get with day shift managers to arrange an extra truck to catch it up.
