With my extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in the HVAC field, took initiative to install back-up AC unit using spare parts from the old RADAR site. The job was a noteworthy accomplishment and was completed at no cost to the FAA.
  • 2. The ACY SSC mobile ATCT was being used at a Balloon Festival. The unit was inoperable because the main AC Unit had failed. They requested assistance and I was able to respond in a timely manner and the AC was repaired and back in service. My strong work ethic and exceptional technical ability help me accomplish the task in a very short time.
  • 3. NASTEP inspection of the ORF MALSR found deficiency of the 1000ft bar embedded lights. Concrete support cause misalignment and therefore cause the MALSR to be out of service. Had to respond quickly and came up with idea to replace embedded lights with above ground steady burner lamps. This was acceptable with ANI and didn't require an NCP or modifications. The lights were adjusted and set at proper angles for certification. MALSR return back to service within one full day with no real impact to the NAS.
