
Building Maintenance
Maintain building grounds of trash and dangerous materials including faulty equipment on playground and school walkways. Mowing, weed/tree trimming, shoveling and snow blowing around school. Repair door hinges, handles, panic bars and electric door closers.
Plumbing (minor)
Sinks, drains, bathroom fixtures, garbage disposals and drinking fountains, etc.
Electrical
Repair/replace ballasts, light switches, hvac-electric motors, relays, high low switches, etc.
Supervise Custodian I on days and 8 custodians in building on nights. Schedule and organize labor for evening events. Secure building for safety and security, performing lock-down/fire drills and weekly safety/security meetings with Principals and support staff. Order inventory, catalog deliveries, organize and distribute. Perform employee reviews. See skills for any additional information needed.
Supervise 8 workers on night shift. Clean and maintain classrooms/gang bathrooms, set up for evening events and activities. Login permits for the building, time sheets/payroll for night crew. Control of stock and order stock as needed. See skills for any additional information needed.
