As a patrol officer I worked in the Southern District, I was responsible for answering calls for service and managing my areas of responsibilities. My patrol area included various businesses, schools, residential and commercial zones, and parks. I worked closely with my squad mates to help solve problems in our communities. In my duties, I interacted with a wide variety of citizens that encompassed various social classes, religion, and cultures, and approached each call for service with respect, professionalism, and courtesy.

Main achievements include:

  • Assisting the city wide Gang Intel Unit with gang related crimes, identifying and validating gang members in the city, interviewing, conducting surveillance, and assisting in gang related arrests.
  • Validated over 100 gang members in the city of Baltimore In first year.
  • Utilized current technologies to gain intelligence, build cases, and effect arrests.
  • Worked together with numerous task forces and specialized units to investigate cases and successfully convict several members of criminal organizations in the Southern District.
