I have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal ordinances. I am able to navigate data bases such as LEADS, OHLEG, and LERMS very well. I am also willing and able to learn other data bases required for this position. I have excellent written and oral communication skills. I am patient and have experience with interviewing people c/w investigations or witness statements for reports. I have a strong work ethic and integrity beyond reproach. I am a self-motivated individual and can operate in the team or unit setting I have been detailed to the vice unit for a periods of 90 and 60 days where I assisted with drug and prostitution details. While detailed, I obtained experience with organizing, submitting grand jury as well as charging packets. I also have experience with obtaining search warrants for arrests. I have taken a gang training course also compiled photos of juvenile gang members in the zone I was previously assigned to patrol. I am currently assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit for the Cleveland Division of Police where I have demonstrated that I can work in a unit setting, handle a heavy case load, conduct interviews with victims as well as suspects.
