Accomplishments

Throughout my career I was called upon to be a trouble shooter in many units. I traveled a majority of the last 10 years of my 38 years of service to units that needed my assistance. I was trained in fact finding and lead teams where needed. We investigated allegations of harassment or work place violence of any kind. I was also the lead negotiator for local contracts through out the District.

I am trained in the Lean Six Sigma process and lead a team across the country doing the first Kaizen projects in units to reduce hours, reduce accidents as well as reducing wait time for customers.

Certification

My training is all Postal. I am trained in the Lean Six Sigma process, contract negotiations, fact finding, accident investigation as well as many safety trainings.

I have remained active in retirement over the last couple years. I am trained and continue to represent United Postmasters and Managers of America (UPMA) members in adverse action issues. I am a certified Chapter Member Representative.

I am also very active as a Trustee in my Church, where I am part of the team responsible for the grounds and physical part of the Church. I am also the head of security at the Church.
