Shop Foreman, Fitter/ Welder

Started as a fitter/welder and moved up to being a foreman.

My responsibility's are:


  • Effectively manage the quality and on time production of multiple jobs, while doing so in a safe manner.
  • Use all the same welding an fitting techniques as stated before while expanding my fitting ability's.
  • Quickly and accurately fit Stringer stair cases, ladders (as well as caged ladders), All manner of railing: radius handrail, picketed rail, wall rail, sloped rail, screen rail,flat bar and HSS rail.
  • Able to do what is mentioned above out of aluminum and stainless steel.
  • Fit and weld numerous MISC: grating, trash bates, shop projects etc..
  • Effectively run Ercolina and bailey tubing benders and run ESAB burn table,

Operator 2

Started as a green hat/operator 1 and worked my way up to an operator 2 ( would've stayed working there if not for going out of business).


My responsibility's included

  • Driving (and service truck) equipment to location: pumps, CTU, cranes, liquid nitrogen, and "junk trailer.
  • Quickly and effectively running iron from pumps and nitrogen pumps.
  • Able to operate fluid pumps and nitrogen pumps: a horsepower, CVA, Twin, and UE with normal operations as well as pressure tests.
  • Rebuilding fluid heads on pumps in the field and in shop.
  • Run the BART trailer
  • Running the man basket for hooking up and function testing the B.O.P. and assist the tool hand.
  • Can safely rig loads and direct crane.
  • And of course run the ground on location

Started as a helper, and worked my way up to a fitter/welder where i learned the value of "paying my dues".


My responsibility's included

  • Cutting and laying out parts
  • Operating numerous types of saws, torches and plasma cutters.
  • Quickly and effectively weld stainless steel and polish to whatever standard required.
  • Getting my welding certs in structural vertical and horizontal (both unlimited) with 0.52/0.45 7100 dual shield. Also obtaining my rebar and aluminum certs (unlimited) with a push/pull gun. experience in welding with various sizes of R70 wire and metal core wire.
  • Learned how to read blue prints and fit structural steel beams, columns, pull eye plates, etc...
