With over 20 years of experience, including a pivotal role at Defense Logistics Agency, I excel in leading teams and safe materials handling, boasting zero accidents. Known for exceptional reliability and a strong work ethic, I've consistently delivered outstanding results, evidenced by my expertise in inventory management and workforce leadership.
Researched and traded stocks and cryptocurrencies.
In the first few years did the pick/pack process on paper. Then transition to “Voice Pick”. Every year I carried out my duties with zero errors and more than 100 percent production. Rated Excellent each year on evaluation. Incoming material/”stows” were verified against documentation. NSN fi then condition and count. Any discrepancies were reported. Every item was verified for Kind Count Condition prior to packaging. Th either boxed or palletised. Participated in monthly and annual inventories. Received a printed report of stock on hand in multiple locations in my aisle. Went to every location and counted, even “high count” locations. Verified the count, condition materials, and reported any discrepancies to my Lead or Supervisor. Most would not do high counts. I would. Operated the crane I was assigned with safety first in mind. Also operat sit down and stand up forklifts with zero accidents. Operated pivot mast forklifts to bring pallets to be shrink wrapped. Always had safety in mind and wrapped pallets so no product would be lost in transport
Delegated to my Materials Handlers instructions I received from my M.H. Supervisor; Ensured my Material Handlers had assignments that were based on Date/need for DLAs customers. Did random audits of their work to ensure KCC (Kind Count Condition)was in compliance along with ensuring enough dunnage and materiel was properly packaged for shipping. Always available to answer any question my Material Handlers had and provide guidance. When I was in the HighRise I was the only trainer that had used Voice Pick as a WG-5 and trained every M.H. that were new hires during my time as a Lead and each one was rated Outstanding in their first review. Kept my, and other M.H. Supervisors informed about workload progress. Were any M.H. not performing to standard I spoke to them on my own. If they did not improve I asked my Supervisor to step in and speak to them, with me. I am an expert operator of the aisle mobile hybrid crane. Five years as a WG-5 Materials Handler with zero accidents or safety violations. As a Lead and the only experienced trainer in the HighRise I trained every new hire to safety first attitude. I often followed new hires in a crane next to their aisle to guide them in the stow/pick/pack process and to alleviate any fear they had about heights or safety in the cranes. As a WG-5 M.H. and as an M.H. Lead I not only picked/packed, but also stowed incoming material. When the HighRise had more stows coming in than crane operators I would step up and get in a crane and do stows. Verified the NSN, condition of the materiel, then quantity against the st document. As a trainer I emphasised the importance of KCC to my new hires and made sure they counted the product and cut no corners. With ESOCS I’d pick them myself if the aisle had no operator
