
Assisted in manufacturing processes since 2008. Supported quality assurance as a medical device assembler and technician until 2014. Contributed to automotive industry operations from 2014 to present.
My duties are to hold Start of Shift Meetings with my operators and safe launch inspectors. I inspect the welds on finished product. I troubleshoot and make adjustments to the robots to ensure parts are produced to specifications. I maintain the robots and clean fixtures as necessary to keep a steady and continuous flow of production of quality parts. My duties as a team lead also include reviewing daily production sheets and sending out end of shift reports daily. September of 2021 i was offered a weldtech/Maintenance position. In this position I maintaine mig welding robots and protrusion welders do setups for production changes. Some experience with progressive presses.
I started with Cummins meritor on October 3rd 2022 as a seam welder were I would take two housing halves place them in the robotic welding unit, where I would check for mismatch and alignment then clamp the parts together then start the welding process. After a year I was promoted to A line cross process operator and B line grotness operator. After 3months I was promoted to B line friction flange operator. After approximately 4 months I was promoted to C line grotness operator. After approximately 6 months i am being trained on A line flange lathe.
After 2 months I was promoted again to a lead in the quality department were I oversaw the floor auditors and did special projects for the quality manager and supervisor. About 6 months I was moved into a weldtech position then 2 months later I was made the maintenance supervisor.
