Data Analyst – EPSCoR-NSF Fellow

Delaware State University
Dover, DE
05.2023 - Current
  • Developing a mathematical relationship in water quality data as regards to total suspended solids, temperature, turbidity and temperature
  • Developing statistical algorithm through multiple linear regression model to determine relationships existing between ater quality data parameters
  • Data analysis through R, Excel, Python and MATLAB to determine water quality in chosen site of Delaware
  • Data visualization and research writing.

Research Assistant

Delaware State University
Dover, DE
05.2023 - Current
  • Developing a machine learning method for Drone Image Analysis capable to detect bio-signatures on Mars
  • Data Analysis and use of Infra-red image modelling techniques to detect avalanches and zone of weakness on rocks
  • Image analysis of Coastal regions to ascertain conducive life for tourist and recreation
  • Supervised and trained Middle and High school student on Drone image capturing.

Research/Teaching Assistant, Team Member

Delaware State University, Delaware
Dover, DE
02.2020 - 05.2023
  • Executed cell segmentation, tracking and quantification programs using MATLAB (programming) and command line executables
  • Validation of segmentation, tracking and quantification techniques, to estimate the accuracy of automated segmentation techniques versus the manually generated reference tissue label maps
  • Data analysis and visualization of biomedical image data
  • Optimization and participated in the IEEE International Symposium Biomedical Imaging Cell Tracking Challenge for from our cell tracking experiments which gained our team a 2nd and 3rd place position
  • Teaching assistant to College Algebra, Calculus and Trigonometry classes pg
  • 2
  • PROFESSIONAL, Math Problem in Industry Workshop

06.2021 - 06.2021
  • Used machine learning algorithms to study the correlations among different features and symptoms of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - COPD and their likelihood of presaging an acute exacerbation
  • Performed a multivariate analysis based on correlations of symptoms or patient characteristics with known likelihoods of sever exacerbations assuming these symptoms and features were all independent of one another
  • Graduate Student Mathematical Modelling Camp

Team Member

Uni. of Delaware
06.2014 - 06.2021
  • Mathematical Models and Simulations of Reconfigurable Flow Networks: Erosion, Deposition, Filtration and Growth
  • We used an integrated approach, to formulate Stokes; advection-diffusion; and Navier-Cauchy equations for the flow, particle concentration and elasticity of complex structures, respectively and presented a simplified mathematical model for the evolution of a channel to gain insight into the effect of erosion and elasticity on the channel morphology.

Imperial Barrel Award, Seismology
10.2013 - 02.2014
  • Completed basin evaluation of North Viking Graben, the Norwegian sector of the North Sea from the literature review, prospect evaluation, sequence evaluation and volumetrics to determine its hydrocarbon prospectivity
  • Engaged in 3D seismic interpretation to delineate horizons, structural and stratigraphic prospects done using petrel software tool
  • Well log analysis, correlation and prospect anlaysis using Petrel, Techlog and Kingdom suites geologic tools.
