Olmsted Fellowship - Norwich University Peace and War Center: During the summer of 2022, a team of 11 students, including myself, conducted a 15 day Field Study in Kyrgyzstan. The study involved several months of planning and coordinating between our team, and our contacts in Kyrgyzstan. I was the Training Management Officer, and I was responsible for securing the documents necessary for international travel to Kyrgyzstan, coordinating with the Norwich University's International Office, and multiple branches of the Armed Forces ROTC units at the school to gain approval for the trip. The trip involved an in-depth analysis of Kyrgyzstan's culture, people, religious and political institutions, for the purpose of understanding broad implications in the academic study of peace and war in Central Asia.
