HR Advisor for Managerial & Executive Roles

As an HR Generalist, my day-to-day functions include but are not limited to:

  • Providing high-quality HR advice and support to managerial roles (Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, Senior Directors, and Executive roles), occasionally individual contributor employees, and external parties, enhancing efficiency and confidence across the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data into Workday and other HR systems (such as Service Now, Service Hub, and others).
  • Maintain high service standards through precise documentation and effective use of service management tools.
  • Administering executive management, HR, and GBS transactional activities throughout the employee lifecycle, adhering to procedures, standards, and timelines.
  • Handling Internal Data Privacy Subject Access Requests following service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Delivering professional services, and ensuring adherence to employment legislation, company policies, and best practices.
  • Offering timely, accurate guidance on employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, job changes, terminations, pay adjustments, and benefits administration.

  • During my time at this company, I effectively hired over 600 Production Operators (including replacements & new adds). I was in charge of the complete hiring process (end-to-end) for the manufacturing side of the company, specifically for hourly roles.
  • Received, screened, and verified the CVs of the applicants interested, making sure that they met the requirements for the role.
  • Coordinated (internal and external attendees) and hosted assessments (which included a manual test and interview stage) every 2 weeks to evaluate the candidates and see if they have the profile needed. For the approved candidates, I had to follow-up with them to schedule their appointments for the medical check-ups. Subsequently, reviewed the results, and lastly, contacted the selected individuals to make the formal offers to join the company.
  • Requested documentation from each selected candidate to create the company files.
  • Handled staff requisitions and tracked their process. Managed internal stakeholders (Production Supervisors & Value Stream Managers), and answered questions about the overall hiring process and induction.
  • I served as a point of contact for new hires, and answered general HR and company questions.
  • Additionally, I planned and organized a massive job fairs for hourly roles. Which had over 3000 inscriptions, and over 500 people scheduled for the job fair. Other candidates were rejected, and the rest were progressively called for assessments on-site.

  • Back on 2020, I joined Smith+Nephew within the Customer Service team, I managed to moved horizontally a couple of times. Then, I won an internal contest as a temporary Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter), this assignment lasted over 10 months.

During my time in the Talent Acquisition Team:

  • I was in charge of the end-to-end hiring process for GBS (Global Business Services) roles, and also provided support to the manufacturing side with hourly positions.
  • Attracted the best talent to the company, tracked the information, and completed reports.
  • I also helped to plan and host 2 job fairs on-site.
