Winona Brackeen

Competent and caring retired professional offering several years of experience interacting with individuals and families coordinating and carrying out patient care. I retired four years ago due to the long 12 hour days and my progressive hearing loss. I have been a resident of Colonial Manor since April 2023. My summer home is located in Bella Vista Arkansas, a recreational community nestled in the beautiful Ozarks I fell in love with Colonial Manor while visiting my friends Jan & Joe Van Camp in the winter months while they lived here. I am currently engaged to my partner Dan Elliott with a wedding being planned for spring 2026. Some of my hobbies and leadership skills include Camaros, raccoon rescue, painting. I was vice-president then president of Northwest Arkansas Camaro Club from 2018-2023 with 73 members at its peak. I have also enjoyed giving back to my community in Bella Vista by volunteering once a week at Audrey's, a boutique that gives back by generously donating proceeds to our local food banks, women & children shelters and education. I am a Gold Star wife, married 35 years to my husband Ssg Cliff Brackeen, Army National Guard until his untimely death during annual training September 2014. Together we had eight children who we raised in Southwest Missouri. I welcome the opportunity to serve my Colonial Manor community to continue to make this the best place to live in Venice!
