Woodrow St. Pierre

• I Lead and command up to 6 lower-enlisted soldiers on a M119A3 105mm Howitzer in my squad.
• Coordinate with Chief and ATC how fire-missions will operate on the timeline.
• Listen to fire-mission instructions called out by RTO and fix Howitzer to exact measurements before firing.

• Served as a base defense NCOIC at Al-Asad Air Base in a year long tour to Iraq from 2020 to 2021. 12 hour shifts consisting of constant monitoring of airspace within a 90km radius of the base and coordinating with Air Traffic Control, all forms of Air Defense, and an appointed Battle-Captain on the engagement of unknown and hostile aircraft. This responsibility included knowing both the inside and outside of every Counter-UAS system and briefing all higher ups during and after events including barrages of rocket attacks, drone attacks, and mortar attacks.
• Handled administrative requirements, maintained records and submitted operational reports.
• Conducted and oversaw briefings and debriefings given to Unit Commanders, Base Commander, and Generals rotating in and out of country.
• Coordinated activities of subordinate personnel to support mission success.
• Led team in developing strategic plans to meet operational objectives.

• Gathered physical evidence and preserves for court.
• Served warrants, summonses, subpoenas and other official papers.
• Patrolled assigned district in St James Parish and observed area for possible criminal activity.
• Apprehended suspects and searched vehicles for drugs or paraphernalia.
• Backed up patrol officers during difficult stops or to answer complex questions.
• Responded to call-outs during periods of low coverage or high demand to serve public in St James Parish.
• Led teams by example, consistently demonstrating correct behaviors and enforcing policies and procedures.

• Relatively all of the same tasks and responsibilities given as a St James Parish Sheriff's Deputy.

In charge of monitoring and patrolling the East Jefferson Parish levee systems located along the Mississippi River and Lake Ponchartrain in addition to normal police-work.
