  • Company Overview: Currently I work as a TSO Officer at the Downtown Airport in Des Moines
  • Have quite a bit of experience when working with customers, such as going above what's normally needed to satisfy the everyday customer
  • Able to assist customer with their needs professionally

  • Able to operate an x-ray
  • Able to perform federal guideline pat downs
  • Capable of screening identification and passports
  • Able to perform federal guideline bag searches
  • Assisted those who are handicapped and have medical devices
  • Performing tasks such as screening their belongings quickly and efficiently to get them to their flight or helping everyday passengers with their luggages into the x-ray
  • Working here has given me a great perspective about the importance of teamwork, punctuality and working hard to satisfy individuals that require one's efforts
  • I had also returned from a 3 week training in George to complete the second half of my training
  • There, I learned how to detect bombs with a handful of devices

  • Company Overview: After returning from Austin, Texas and graduating within the same year, I had decided to briefly work at the Amazon Fulfillment Center located in Bondurant
  • Capable of prolonged hours of service
  • Able to lead with most unique positions such as the person sending out the work called in this case the indirect
  • Able to lift heavy items and organize many types of product
  • Was also able to clear jams when occurred
  • The job took my understanding of work to another level
  • For what I quickly realized after a whole week went by, work never stops or the lights never go out
  • It would give me more of a true sense of getting work done when needed and how much people physically put in to get what we request everyday
  • Positions such as the indirect gave me a sense of leadership with making sure that work gets distributed amongst all employees and tending to everyone's requests at their station
  • It was a really good starting way to understand how to lead a team to a goal, and it's by example
