Returned to VOS YMCA as summer seasonal staff, while still being a full-time MBA online student. Oversaw all aquatics programming include Safety Around Water, swim lessons, swim team, water fitness classes, and more. Conducted and coordinated all branch safety pieces of training for all employees. Staffed and scheduled 15-20 employees/volunteers to ensure all events, classes, and activities were covered. Created yearly (and seasonal) budget report. Ability to teach new lifeguard courses, swim lessons, and CPR/AED in addition to weekly in-service trainings.

Refereed over 2,500+ games over a span of 14 years. Officiated games as high as the collegiate level including State, Regional, and National tournaments. Participated in the mentorship, developmental, and evaluation programs to train all officials, especially younger, newer individuals. Facilitate the annual seminars under USA Hockey to re-certify new and existing officials for all levels (High as Level 4).

Supervised and oversaw the entire sports staff, including volunteers and all operations of the sports department. Created a safe environment to allow for physical, emotional, and personality development of all sports participants while instilling the YMCA’s core values. Responsible for organizing teams, practice times, and games schedules for over 800 total participants at the Scottsdale location, as well as assistance in scheduling for the entire West Valley. Managed vital partnerships with outside organizations including the Phoenix Suns/Mercury, Arizona Coyotes, and other business partners.

Main priority of ensuring guest satisfaction with a multitude of other front of house obligations including valet, golf clubs, wine orders, to-go orders, and other secondary tasks while also maintaining relationships with the valued membership.
