With a robust background at Sebastian County Sheriff's Office, I excelled in enhancing inmate safety and fostering a team-oriented work environment. My expertise in crisis management and exceptional communication skills led to streamlined operations and improved staff-inmate dynamics, significantly contributing to a safer, more efficient facility.
Through my different assignments with the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office, I have learned to handle a wide array of incidents. Everything from the everyday run of the mill problems to handling an active shooter incident.
In addition to my daily assignment, I have also been on the SWAT Team since 2012. The last 3 years I have held the rank of Team Leader. As the Team Leader, it is my responsibility to set up all of our training days as well as coordinate all of the logistics that come with that. To include location, manpower, vehicles and personnel, and getting with state agencies if we will be operating on one of their radio channels.
I also coordinate our operators in the event of a call out. I have to locate a staging area that is in close proximity to our incident location. I have to keep track of all personnel and where they are assigned. When the time comes to move further with the call out, I coordinate with the Team Commander to determine the next level of action. Then start prepping the team for what we are going to do.
Once the operation is over, I have to type up an after-action memo and submit it to the Team Commander for review.
I hold a General Certificate through the state of Arkansas.
I am a Less Lethal Instructor (to include OC, and 40 mm munitions)
Firearm Instructor; pistol, rifle, and shotgun
Red Dot Instructor
General Instructor
