As a Hospital Courier General Manager, I oversee the efficient operation of the hospital courier service, ensuring timely and safe delivery of medical supplies, documents, and equipment. My responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing efficient courier routes to ensure timely delivery and pickup of items
• Managing a team of couriers/ independent contractors (approximately 45 drivers), including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Overseeing payroll and ensuring accuracy in hours worked and wages paid
• Collaborating with hospital staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise

Pharmaceutical delivery manger came with a lot of responsibility; meeting budgets, managing 20+ routes (30+ drivers), payroll, and on boarding new drivers.

Working with Zip Express I rapidly moved throughout all the different departments, learning the entire company and got a proposal to run the Nashville district. I started off as a independent contracting driver. Driving around the middle Tennessee area dropping off pharmaceuticals to Walmart, CVS, Kroger, and smaller mom-and-pop stores. Next, I took on the position as overnight manager. Which as unloading trucks, sorting, and scanning.

Hired as an independent contractor to work several different job sightings i.e, office paper delivery, fresh pick deliver, and hotel supplies. This was a eight-month contract.
