Awards

Girl Scout Bronze Award, June 29, 2019

Our troop conducted a plastic bag drive within our schools. We made appointments with principals, created a presentation, made fliers, and brought attention to the elementary school and a co-op the dangers of plastic bags to our world. We collected over 3,000 bags.

The second part for this award included making fleece blankets and preparing a meal for the Ronald McDonald House, which provides housing for families of children going through medical treatment.

Girl Scout Silver Award, June 12, 2021

Our troop underwent training in tutoring and mentoring. We set up profiles and added our specialties for tutoring. We met with kids who required more support during the COVID-19 pandemic through Zoom to offer tutoring and mentoring.
