Lease Operator

  • In charge of five tank batteries with each lease obtaining 10-25 wells.
  • Gauge sales tanks on a daily basis.
  • Pull bottoms on tanks,if necessary, mainly on the sales tanks when BS&W and water build up.
  • Tests oil in sales tank making sure oil was clean before calling in loads to sale.
  • Type and submit daily reports.
  • Check every well thoroughly to make sure it is producing correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain wells and fix repairs when needed, since company did own roustabout.
  • Operate a pulling unit.
  • Inspect insert pumps, Pressure tests balls and seats.
  • Pressure tests downhole pipe for holes and eliminate pitted rods and replace with new ones.
