Manages as well as coordinates activities of workers in operating hot-dip-tinning machines to tinplate black-pickled steel sheets, and also in classifying assorting tinplate.

Performs detailed inspections and verifies production articles based on comparisons to representative samples and recognized industry standards.

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigning clean-up and department organization.

Develops reports regarding the findings of final product in department.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical test issues on the devices and orders.

Develops and helps implement ideas through the company to continue process improvement.

Develops weekly and daily testing schedules for the departments.

Coordinates schedules with the other testing departments to ensure they receive test parts in a timely maner so they can complete their testing work per customer requirements.

Diagnoses problems in External Visual Inspection, X-Ray / XRF, Receiving and Shipping. Works with staff on improvements as needed.

Assists department managers and production Engineer in the development of annual departmental budgets.

Helps establish safety procedures and protocols that take the workers well-being into account.

Performs other duties as directed by the Production Engineer.

Populate and solder electronic components.

Responsible for fabrication of molds to meet production demands.

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned including clean-up and department organization.

Work from schematics and engineering documentation.

Corrects any mistakes that are discovered by other test departments, Quality control or Shipping regarding testing, reporting or part accountability.

Cleans and maintains test equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning.

Performed other duties as directed by the department manager.
