  • I am on call 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Each day provides new work orders, I arrive each day and collect my work order for the day. We either have New Loss work order or existing Monitor work orders. I will begin my day by loading the truck with dehumidifiers, air movers, other fans, mallets, crowbars, screwdrivers, box knives, tape measures, sheet rock knives, reciprocating saws, putty knives, picks, Pin-Type Digital Moisture Meters with LCD Display, Temperature/Humidity Monitors, truck mounted wet tank vacuums and various shop vacs. Upon arrival at job site I prepare the truck mount to remove water from carpet then begin to remove water. Depending on damage we may need to remove carpet and pad. We begin the process of setting up all of our fans, dehumidifiers, pop holes in the sheet rock to remove water and create air flow. Once all of the water is removed and carpet and pad taken care of we remove equipment and another department will come out to do the restoration.

Assembler

Clear Water Paper Corporation
11.2016 - 12.2016
  • Worked in the Bailer Department that consist of making bails of paper, cardboard, and plastic. Upon arriving I would make bales of 245 pounds - 345 pounds of product. Products consisted of new tissue, napkins, and large rolls of paper. I used 3 different Bale Master Machines. I would load the paper onto the conveyor belt and wait for the machine to shred, compress and bind each bale. As I would pull the bale the fork lift would arrive to remove each bale. One of the machines would shred, compress and bind the bales, the other 2 machines would compress only so I would bind the bales by hand. I would make 15 bales per day. Keeping my area clean of debris at all times, and wait on more product to arrive.
  • I also worked in the Table area. While working in an assembly line I would unload approximately 100 boxes of product per day and put them through the Seal-a-Tron Machine T2002. I would send the product through the machine and it would wrap and seal packages of 3 or 4, and then stack and wrap for delivery. Would clean up for the day and start again the next day. Company sold and was laid off in December of 2016.
