Extensive knowledge and experience in program development, innovation, and organizational leadership. Combined 20 years in international affairs, public diplomacy, academe, and corporate training & development. Strong skills in digital innovation, brand building, strategic programming, team management and leadership. High level professional with a Master's degree in Learning and Teaching (MALT) from De La Salle University and Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Recently worked in the U.S. Government's Mission to the Philippines. Managed overall operations, planning, budget, physical space standards, and strategic programs of American Spaces in the Philippines of the U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section, U.S. Department of State, which includes the American Center Manila (formerly Thomas Jefferson Information Center) and 15 American Corners in strategic locations across the Philippines. The network of American Spaces in the Philippines is considered as the largest network in Southeast Asia and fifth largest globally.
**Important Note: After the Department of State's global Public Diplomacy Staffing Initiative (PDSI), my title was changed to American Spaces Program Specialist to better articulate the actual scope of my work in my job description. In my role as American Center Director, I served in the same capacity and with the same responsibilities as American Spaces Program Specialist. The PDSI better defined and clarified the large scope of my role and responsibilities. During this time, we also expanded the network of American Corners from 14 to 15 ACs, adding more staff under my supervision. If needed, you may verify this through my former supervisor/s and Human Resources.
