- Charged 35$ an hour for Lawn Mowing
- Charged 25$ an hour for Lawn Edging
- Charged 30$ an hour for Leaf Blowing
- Charged 20$ an hour for Weeding
- Charged 25$ an hour for Bulb Planting
- Advertised for the business by spreading this flyer to houses that my family knew about in the neighborhood.
- Offered significant discounts for lawn care services in the week after Black Friday and spread around a Black Friday themed flyer.
Life Pins!
Self-Started Business
2019 - 2021
- Started a Pro Life pin business known as Life Pins, which sold glittery bottlecap pins to the Pro-Life community, as a 13 year old.
- Created six designs for the pins as well as a poster on the design platform Canva, and used crafty elements to bring the product to life.
- Spread around the word about Life Pins by selling at in person rallies and events, and by selling them through a small stand in my mother's office.
- Donated over $300 to assisting children at a gateway school in Uganda at the first results of the business through the organization His Love and Sonshine.
- Used later profits from Life Pins to assist my sister in helping a shared donation of over $1000 to Guiding Star, a shelter for single mothers in need of assistance, which resulted in earning the John and Harriet Stanton Young Leader Award .
